NPA Sends SOS Call To Gov't To Settle Debts Of BDC`s To Prevent Imminent Shortage Of Products


The National Petroleum Authority, NPA has appealed to the President and other authorities to intervene in the settlement of validated debts owed the Bulk Oil Distribution Companies BDC`s to avert shortage of petroleum products in the next few weeks.  

A letter to that effect said although the government had directed the Bank Of Ghana to settle the authenticated claims, the directive is yet to be adhered to.  

The letter which was signed by the Chief Executive of NPA, Moses Asaga and addressed to the Minister of Petroleum, was copied to the President, Vice President, The Chief of Staff and Minister of Finance.
