Medical officers pushes for mental  status of alleged raped  victims


Some medical officials within the Police Hospital are pushing for a psychiatric examination of a female radio presenter alleged to have been abducted and raped.

Report say the move by the medical officers is due to the victim’s uncooperative attitude at the hospital where she is receiving psychological treatment.

Sources close to the radio presenter say she may be pretending to be unwell. 

The female radio presenter has been at the Police Hospital since April 16 following her alleged abduction and sexual assault.

The Police say, the whole incident was staged and have arrested one of the accomplices, an 18-year-old, Nelson Williams also known as Iddrisu who is said, to have helped her stage her own abduction and rape.
