Minister advocates measurement in analysis of energy performance

The Ministry of Trade and Industry has urged the Ghana Standards Authority to collaborate with relevant stakeholders in the energy sector to monitor measurement in the analysis of energy performance to prevent waste in the system.

This is contained in a speech read on behalf of the sector Minister, Dr Ekow Spio Garbrah by the Director of Standards at the Trade Ministry, Robert Tandoh, at the celebration of World Metrology Day in Accra. 

The Minister asked the PURC, ECG and VRA to ensure that the metering systems live up to expectation and to the satisfaction of the consumer.
