NPP Upper East Chairman, Mahama Adam Passes on

Reports reaching Radio Ghana indicate that the NPP Upper East Chairman, Mahama Adam who was attacked by two unidentified men with a substance believed to be acid has passed on. 

Mahama Adam was receiving treatment at the Bolgatanga Regional Hospital. 

The incident happened on Wednesday night when he was stopped by two unidentified persons, and in an attempt to inquire the reason why he was stopped, they poured the substance on him. 

According to Radio Ghana Correspondent, Felix Lambert, one of the suspects have been arrested and the other one is on the run.
