Government spends over $886m on Gas Infrastructure Project

Government has spent more than $ 886 million on the Gas Infrastructure Project in the Western Region. 

About $ 113,654,000 dollars is yet to be committed. 

The Minister of Energy, Emmanuel Amarh Kofi Buah, said this on the Floor of Parliament when he was quizzed by the MP for Yagaba-Kubori - Mustapha Ussif, on the actual cost of the Atuabo Gas Project. 

The Minister reiterated that the government of Ghana and China Development Bank are the financiers of the project.
