Government committed to checking oil and gas exploitation

The Head of Public Relations at the Ghana Standards Authority (GSA), Dr. Kofi Amponsah Bediako says government recognises the need to purchase equipment to cross check oil and gas that are exploited to prevent under declaration. 

He said government is therefore guaranteeing a loan for his organisation to purchase the equipment which will go a long way to cut losses in that sector. 

Dr Bediako noted that in a few weeks, the transaction will be done, which will pave the way for the country to generate more revenue.
