MMDAs need to exhibit professionalism in transactions -Nii Lantey Vanderpuije

Deputy Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Nii Lantey Vanderpuije, has underscored the need for Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies, MMDAs, to exhibit professionalism in all transactions with people at the grassroots. 

This he explained is the surest means of generating enough revenue internally across the country towards development. 

Mr Vanderpuije said the attitude of some members of staff of MMDAs leaves much to be desired, saying such behaviour does not auger well for the Assemblies in the area of revenue generation. 

Speaking at a sod-cutting for the construction of a four-storey office complex for the Tema Metropolitan Assembly, the Deputy Minister emphasized the need for employees of MMDAs to create a conducive working environment to attract the people
