Judicial Service workers calls off strike

The Judicial Service Workers Association, JUSAG has called off a two-day strike declared on Tuesday.

The decision to call-off the strike was reached after a meeting with the Minister of Employment and Labour Relations, Haruna Iddrisu today. 

The strike was in protest over unpaid allowances which have been in arrears for a number of months. 

As a result of the strike, court activities were gravely disrupted as judges, lawyers and clients were left stranded at the various courts across the country.
