Government to review peace keeping operations The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Hannah Tetteh says government is considering a review of the country’s involvement in peacekeeping operations. The move is to ensure effective participation and minimise risks. She explained further that government is making efforts to ensure that Ghanaian peacekeepers have the technological expertise and state-of-the-art equipment needed in all peacekeeping operations as Ghana remains resolute in its commitment to the United Nations as a partner for peace. Madam Tetteh said this when Ghana joined the international community to observe UN Peacekeeping Day under theme: “UN at 70 and Ghana in peacekeeping: past, present and future.” GBC
