Vehicle belonging to Interior Minister knocks down a female motorcyclist The Interior Minister Mr. Mark Woyongo is reported to have hit a lady motorcyclist. Reports say, the accident occurred in Navrongo in the Upper East region. Reports say the victim was returning from church on a motorbike, when the accident occurred. The Minister, who is also the Member of Parliament for Navrongo Central, was reported to be driving himself when the accident occurred. The report further said his vehicle has been detained by the police. Mr. Woyongo is in his constituency to pick up nomination forms for the November 7 parliamentary primaries of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Meanwhile, the victim is reported to be safe even though she suffered a hip dislocation. The report further said she has been sent to Bawku to be attended to by orthopedic specialists.
