Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development calls on journalists to enter Face of ODF contest

The Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development is calling on Journalists to submit entries for the Face of Open Defecation Free, ODF, Media Feature and Photo contest.  

In a statement, the Ministry said the award scheme will honour journalists whose work exhibit professionalism and reflect a good mixture of research, analysis and pictorial representation. 

It is therefore asking journalists to submit articles to take part in the contest.

It said entries on all aspects of open defecation -related issues are encouraged. 

The call for submission of entries is open from 20th June, to 4th July, 2016.  

The statement noted that late, incomplete, illegible and fraudulent entries or acts that will bring the reputation of the Ministry and its partners into disrepute shall render the entrant ineligible. 

Additionally, reports published in personal web blogs are not eligible.
