The Graphic identifies with the stress BECE candidates have to go through because of the rainy season including traveling long distances in order to write their examinations. Nonetheless, the paper urges them to give of their best as their future depends on the examinations to make meaningful progress. To WAEC, the Graphic says it is about time they redeemed their image by making ensuring that the security measures put in place will yield good results and that students will not be faced with cancellation  and re-write of papers because of leakage of examination papers. 

The Ghanaian Times says since 1989, the BECE has been dogged with a series of examination malpractices that has affected the lives of many students. It is against this backdrop that the paper expresses uneasiness and hopes that this time around WAEC has put in the necessary security measures to spare the students another heart ache this year. It says the image of the Organisation has been tarnished to a large extent and hope they would salvage some of it this year through an incident free examinations.

The Daily Heritage appeals to the pupils to obey all the examination rules and regulations and not get into any form of trouble but rather make their parents and teachers proud of them. The paper wishes the BECE candidates well in their examinations.
