Slum Violence

The Millennium Child Support Group, a Civil Society Organization based in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region has begun series of interventions aimed at improving the lives of slum dwellers to ensure an inclusive, credible and peaceful election. The project is dubbed ''Save Women and Children from Electoral Violence”. The Chief Executive Officer of the Group, Godfrey Parker explains to Rebecca Ekpe, how activities of slum dwellers, particularly women and children can undermine elections.
