EARF Ghana creates awareness on endometriosis

The Endometriosis Awareness and Research Foundation (EARF) Ghana, has organised an awareness creation Programme on Endometriosis for students of Oxford International Senior High School at Abesim near Sunyani in the Brong-Ahafo Region. 

The aim of the programme was to educate the students about the health condition and offer support to affected girls and women in general, to help them understand and manage Endometriosis. 

Addressing the participants, the founder of the EARF, Akosua Owusu Effah, called on women who experience pain in the lower abdomen and during sex as well as extremely painful menstruation to visit the hospital as it could be due to Endometriosis.
