NDC reacts to alleged thumb printed ballot papers found in Kumasi The NDC has described the alleged thumb printing of ballot papers in favour of its Presidential candidate John Mahama as diabolical end desperation of the NPP to deceive Ghanaians. The campaign spokesperson for the NDC, Joyce Bawa Mogtari said no amount of lies can win the mandate of Ghanaians but Lord works. She said this at news conference to debunk allegations against the party. Meanwhile, the Ashanti Regional Director of the Electoral Commission, Serebour Quaicoe has described as fake, thousands of thumb printed ballot papers found in a hotel room in Kumasi. Speaking at a news conference in Kumasi, Mr Quaicoe said the ballot papers do not have serial numbers and the EC's stamps on them. He therefore denied that they belong to the commission. The New Patriotic Party's Ashanti Regional Chairman Monday morning led the police in Kumasi to a location where thousands of fake ballots thumb-printed for the President were retrieved. The papers were discovered in bags in a room at Madison Lodge in the Nhyiaeso Constituency in Kumasi after the Monday morning search by some policemen, some NPP parliamentary candidates and the party's regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako.
