IMANI & UNICEF release study on inequality and poverty in Ghana

A joint study by IMANI-Ghana and UNICEF on integrating poverty and inequality issues in 2017 and beyond has revealed that while poverty is on the decline, inequality is on the rise in Ghana.

The findings indicate that inequality level is highest in the upper West Region with a figure of 44 percent more than the national average of 41 percent. 
 
Presenting the findings in Accra the Head of Social Policy at IMANI-Ghana, Festus Ankrah said manifesto messages on how to address inequality by the NDC, NPP, and PPP are not measurable.
