GBU Appeals For Tax Incentives For Employers Of Disabled

The Ghana Blind Union, (GBU) is asking the government to give tax incentives to organizations that employ sizeable number of people with disability. 

The Union is of the view that, this when done will encourage many organizations particularly the private sector to employ more people with disability to alleviate the suffering.

In an address read on her behalf during the celebration of this year’s World Disability Day at Bole in the Northern Region the National President of the Union, Aisha Ibrahim said people with disabilities are confronted with serious challenges especially when it comes to employment.
