Commonwealth Observer Mission urges Political parties to allow EC to do its work

The Commonwealth Observer Mission is asking all political parties and candidates to allow the Electoral Commission to announce the results of the election.

The EC should also respect the will of the people by using the right procedure and regulations to analyze the result. 

The head of the Commission, Former South Africa President, Thabo Mbeki, at  a News Conference in Accra described the general conduct of the December 7 elections as peaceful.
