Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo Is President-Elect Of Ghana 

The presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has been declared President-Elect of Ghana in the just ended 2016 general elections.

Announcing the results in a press conference in Accra, the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Mrs Charlotte Osei, said the current results excludes that of four constituencies whose results are still being collated at the voting centres.

She however stated that results from the remaining constituencies are immaterial to the final outcome of the presidential polls.

New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, polled 5,716,026 votes representing 53.85 percent whilst incumbent President John Mahama had 4,713, 277 representing 44.40 percent.
