Police Service Investigating Post-elections Social Media Abuse

The Ghana Police Service says it is rigorously investigating the issue of people abusing social media as a result of the recent reports of vandalism by some political party supporters.  

Speaking to Radio Ghana, the Director of Public Affairs of the Service, Supt.  Cephas Arthur, said the police is well aware of the disturbing sentiments people are expressing in pictures and comments on social media platforms and are taking the issue serious.  

He said the police IT unit is up and doing but it will take time since it is a purely technical area.
