President Mahama Receives Rousing Welcome In Bole 

President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama was given a rousing welcome by the people of Bole when he visited his home constituency to celebrate Christmas. 

Reports say many people lined up on the streets of Bole on Christmas Eve, 24th December, when the news of the President's visit spread through the town. 

According to the report, an emotional crowd lined up on the streets to welcome the president. 

This is contrary to false information making the rounds on social media that he was nearly lynched by an angry mob. 

The false report claimed it took his security detail a hectic task to help him escape. In a video that went viral, the President was rather mobbed by an enthusiastic crowd shouting, ‘we want John’, apparently calling on him to present his candidacy for the presidency again.
