GOIL Board apologises to President Akufo-Addo

The Board of Directors of the Ghana Oil Company Limited has written to President Akufo-Addo to apologise for any embarrassment caused by the Board's statement in response to the Ghanaweb Publication on the 24th February, 2017 on the purported appointment of Prof. William Asomaning as the new Chief Executive Officer for GOIL.

The apology follows a statement issued by the Office of the President yesterday to refute allegations on appointment.  

The Board of Directors said it takes   of cognizance the statement hence the apology to the President.
