The Daily Graphic focuses its editorial on Veterans and the need for government to give them the necessary attention. The paper supports the assertion that any country that does not recognise its heroes is not worth dying for. But to the paper, it appears Ghana has done very little to acknowledge the contribution of national heroes. The paper says as Ghana gears up for sixty years of nationhood, the Diamond Jubilee should offer the country the opportunity to recognise all those who contributed towards the present.
