Poverty alleviation programme for Ghana extended

The World Bank has extended its poverty alleviation program under the Ghana Social Opportunities project with the Local Government Ministry for an additional year. 

The World Bank says the extension would afford them the opportunity to strengthen the capacity of beneficiaries from mainly pro-poor communities to wean them off government's support.
