Apostolic Nunciature marks 40 years diplomatic relationship between Ghana and Holy See 

The Apostolic Nunciature in Ghana is marking 40 years of diplomatic relations between Ghana and the Holy See. This comes days before Ghana celebrates her 60th Independence Anniversary. 

To this end, the President of the Governorate of the Vatican City, Cardinal Guiseppe Bertello is in the country as the Pope's special envoy to the 40 years diplomatic relations activities and Ghana's Diamond Jubilee celebrations.  

At a news conference to officially introduce Cardinal Bertello, the Apostolic Nuncio to Ghana, Archbishop Jean-Marie Speich said Ghana has always been his first love in his 25 years of diplomatic mission.
