Parliament Approves 2017 Budget But Minority Questions Its approval

Parliament has approved the 2017 budget for the running of government business. 

But members of the minority in parliament have questioned the approval of 2017 Budget.

According to the minority, their views were sidelined in the process of approving it.

The Minority Chief Whip, Alhaji Muntaka Mubarack told GBC’s Radio Ghana that as at the time the votes were being counted, members present in the chamber were not enough to approve the budget. 

He said the minority is considering bringing a motion to revisit the issue.
