Mohammed Adjei Sowah confirmed AMA Chief Executive

The President's nominee for the Accra Metropolitan Assembly, (AMA) Chief Executive, Mohammed Adjei Sowah, has been overwhelmingly endorsed by the Assembly Members. 

He had 100 percent of the votes cast. 

Mr. Adjei Sowah needed  two-thirds of  Yes or No votes of members of the Assembly. 

The former Greater Accra Regional Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) replaces Alfred Oko Vanderpuije, who is now the Member of Parliament for Ablekuma South.

He was immediately sworn into office by the presiding member to begin his four-year term of office.
