NCPTAs express condolences to Kintampo victims

The National Council of Parents and Teacher Association has expressed its condolence to the bereaved families of the students who were involved in an accident at the Kintampo Waterfalls. 

The association in a statement urges authorities to take immediate steps to conduct thorough investigations into the disaster to unravel the cause to help prevent similar occurrence in future.  

The Association said the authorities must take punitive measures against all persons whose negligence of duty contributed to the tragedy. 

It appeals to the Ministry of Tourism and Ghana Tourist Board to ensure proper development of tourist sites and engage professionals to manage the facilities in order to keep tourists safe.
