Consult us before deciding on payment of fees for SHS final year students - NCPTAs The National Council of Parent-Teacher Associations (NCPTAs) has called for a stake holder consultation on the implementation of the Ghana Education Service directive asking Heads of Senior High Schools not to charge full fees on final year students. In an interview with Radio Ghana, the President of the association, Alexander Yaw Danso said parents need to know the exact amount and date due for payment of fees, to enable them to prepare and pay the required amount. He said the non-payment of the third term fees partially or fully is likely to pose huge feeding and other cost challenges to the administrators of the schools. Mr. Danso also advised parents affected by the directive to fulfil their fee payment obligation to avoid embarrassment to themselves and their wards. GBC
