Over 200,000 Leap beneficiaries to receive Jan, Feb disbursement March 27

More than 200,000 LEAP beneficiaries will from next Monday receive their January and February 2017, disbursement throughout the country.

The amount involved is GH¢16 million cedis.

The Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Madam Otiko Afisa Djaba, announced this at a press briefing in Accra.
 
She said the Skills Training module which is a component of the programme and which has started in the Upper East Region will be replicated in the other regions.
 
This she noted will enable the programme to wean off those who have skills to make room for other vulnerable people to benefit from the programme.
