Parliament approves budget estimates for five ministries 

Budget estimates for five ministries have been approved by Parliament. They are ministries of Roads and Highways, Energy, and Defence. The rest are the Interior and Trade and Industry. 

The ministry of Roads and Highways was given eight hundred and 71 point two million Ghana cedis with the Energy ministry getting eight hundred and 89 point seven million Ghana Cedis.

Ministry of Defence got eight hundred and 21 point seven million Ghana Cedis while the ministry of the interior got one point five billion Ghana Cedis. 

Also, the ministry of trade and industry was allocated two hundred and 69 point one million Ghana Cedis.

Meanwhile, Parliament is expected to go on recess next week Thursday, March 30, ending its first meeting for the year.
