The Ghanaian Times is of the view that Ghanaians are not committed to ensuring a clean environment, which is the major cause of Cholera outbreaks in parts of the country. Although the paper welcomes efforts by urban authorities to rid places of filth, it says sustained individual discipline is a very effective way to deal with the issue. The Times is puzzled how a preventable disease such as Cholera continue to threaten the lives of people in the country. The paper calls for preventive measures by health authorities and the public to rid the country of filth.

The Daily Heritage welcomes moves by the Communications Minister, Mrs Ursula Owusu-Ekuful to establish a National Cyber Security Council to tackle the spate of cyber-crime in the country. The paper urges government not to pay lip service to the war against cybercrime so that Ghana could have a robust system against criminals who are exploiting the speed, convenience and anonymity of the internet to commit crimes.
