UMB gives $100 Million boost for one District one factory policy 

The one District, one factory policy initiative by government has been given a major boost with the allocation of one hundred million dollars by Universal Merchant Bank as seed money for the project. 

Under the initiative, small scale businesses are expected to go through the Public, Private Partnership incubator centre to access funds for the establishment of factories in the district of their choice.
 
The management of the Bank led by its Board Chair, Betty Zormelo announced this when it paid a courtesy call on President Akufo Addo at the seat of government.
