Gov’t to create 750 thousand jobs through Planting for Food and Jobs programme in the Volta region

Government hopes to create 750 thousand direct and indirect jobs through the Planting for Food and Jobs programme.

This was disclosed at the launch of the project in Bolgatanga, the capital of the Upper East region. 

The programme, which is in collaboration with the private sector, seeks to ensure immediate and adequate food security through improved productivity.
