Strong Earthquake strikes remote region of Botswana

An earthquake said to be the strongest has rocked the remote region of Botswana near the Kalahari game reserve reaching a magnitude of six point five.

The central part of the country is said to be the hardest hit.

There are reports of rocks falling off small hills around villages near Gaborone.

It is not known when another tremor may strike as Botswana does not have a system that pre warns of such disasters.
