The Ghanaian Times says acts of lawlessness displayed in connection with a court trial in Kumasi by some people said to be members of a vigilante group, the Delta Force have brought great waves of shock to people in the country. According to the paper, any disrespect shown to the judiciary amounts to wanton confrontation with the people of Ghana. The Times is happy to hear from the IGP that the security agencies are on top of the issues and that they will bring the culprits to book and disband all such vigilante groups, including the Delta Force.

The Daily Graphic says the fight against galamsey is one dedicated to save the country’s water bodies from incessant pollution and the destruction of the vegetation. The paper urges government to be bold to take action on the matter; it should be ready to name, shame and jail people involved or associated with it, irrespective of their colour party affiliation or where they come from. The paper urges the Media coalition against galamsey not to rest on its oars nor be complacent. The Daily Graphic is happy that this time round it is the media which are triggering the fight by dipping government's hands in the bowl for action. The paper says the fight against galamsey is a worthy one and an exercise that must attract the support of all.
 
The Daily Heritage says the abuse of Ghana's known status as a religious and secular state by some quack men of God appears to be getting out of hands and ought to be tackled with all seriousness.  According to the paper, day in day out , prayer camps and new churches spring up to provide salvation to the many who are troubled, afflicted and impoverished. The Heritage is alarmed by a survey conducted by Human Rights Advocacy Centre in the Ada East District, which revealed all forms of inhumane physical abuses ranging from chaining to sun bathing, churned out to victims as a form of discipline by operators of these prayers camps.
