Drivers asked to adhere strictly to vehicular checks to avoid accidents The tendency for drivers to engage in activities that lead to accidents during the Easter season is high. Some drivers engage in speeding while others over stretch themselves so as to make more money during the period. To help prevent accidents during this time, the National Road Safety Commission in Wa in collaboration with key stakeholders in the transport industry has stepped up its campaign on the need for drivers and passengers to adhere strictly to road traffic regulations. The Commission has held separate fora with managers of transport organisations, drivers, mates and passengers at the lorry park and stressed the need for all to go by the regulations. GBC
