MP for Odododiodoo wants old Fadama declared security zone to curb arms proliferation

The Member of Parliament for Odododiodoo, Nii Lantey Vanderpuiye has expressed worry over frequent clashes in the area inhabited by the two Northern ethnic groups which according to him is undermining his effort at ensuring peace in the area. 

In an interview with Radio Ghana, Mr. Vanderpuiye called on the authorities to declare the area a security zone and urged security personnel to conduct random checks in order to curb the proliferation of arms in the hands of civilians.
