Today's editorials centers much on the Easter celebrations.

The  Daily Graphic believes that Easter offers deeper lessons. It says if Christians are followers of Christ, who died to cleanse their sins, then they should also be ready to use Easter as a time for forgiveness and reconciliation. The paper says it is unacceptable to find people die needlessly, which undermines the the essence of Easter. The paper also lauds the National Road Safety Commission for the launch of the Easter road safety campaign. It says it believes drivers will abide to make road transport a pleasurable experience. The paper therefore appeals to all to make the celebration useful and examine the shortcomings and resolve new paths that will help in nation building. 
 
The Ghanaian Times wishes to caution holiday makers this Easter holiday season. it saysThose who will go to the beaches ,tourist sites and other entertainment sites should be careful of activities that could result in disasters. The Times is of the view that the Easter season ideally should be celebrated solemnly with the focus on the enormous sacrifice  of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on the cross and its significance on our daily lives.


The Daily Heritage says for many Christians in Ghana, the Easter festivity is a time reflection, family re-union and merry making. In Kwahu in the Eastern Region, the celebration is commemorated with a unique assembly of people laced with lots of funfare and mega parties. The paper says however some social misfits take advantage of the assemblage to engage in criminal activities and prostitutes also take advantage to engage in sexual promiscuity which has been condemned by the chiefs and people of Kwahuman. The Heritage urged all celebrants to use the occasion to renew their faith and shy away from sinful acts.
