Paragliding festival takes off at Kwahu in the Eastern Region This year’s Kwahu Paragliding Festival comes off at Atibie in the Eastern Region. The event will mark the 12th in the series of the Kwahu Easter paragliding Festival, which aims at promoting the Ghanaian Culture through domestic tourism and improving the economy. This year’s event is a stepping stone for a bigger platform. According to the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority, Kwesi Agyeman the facility at the Ogyeanoma mountains will be upgraded so that paragliders all over the world can just go and paraglide. Mr Agyemang indicated that this year’s event will be used to re-launch the entire paragliding series. GBC
