NRSC, Police, DVLA Taskforce to ensure road safety during festivities

A taskforce from the National Road Safety Commission (NRSC), the Police and the DVLA has been constituted to ensure safety on the roads during this Easter.  

The NRSC has also deployed personnel at major lorry parks and toll booths to educate drivers and passengers on road safety.  

The Head of the National Road Safety Commission, May Obiri-Yeboah, told Radio Ghana that with this concerted effort, the Commission expects to record fewer crashes during this Easter as compared to last year.  

She spoke to GBC's Bubu klinogo. 

Madam Obiri Yeboah also reported an accident that occurred earlier today (April 13), at Bonsu junction involving a truck load of tomatoes.
