US Ambassador to Ghana pays courtesy call on Energy Minister The United States Ambassador to Ghana, Robert Porter Jackson has paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Energy, Boakye Agyarko. The meeting which took place at the Ministry discussed happenings in the Energy Sector. Mr. Agyarko acknowledged the US government’s support over the years. A statement signed by the communications unit of the Ministry said, the Minister gave an overview of Ghana’s Energy Sector as well as initiative government is currently implementing to ensure that Ghana gets a modern, diversified, efficient, and financially sustainable energy sector. The dignitaries also discussed other pressing issues includingthe upcoming Offshore Technology Conference. The US Ambassador on his part, thanked the Minister for the warm reception and hoped for a future dialogue. GBC
