One person dies in renewed clashes at Nkonya-Alavanyo

One more person is reported dead in Nkonya in the Volta Region.

The victim is said to be a 17 year old girl who was shot and died shortly after admission at the hospital. 

This comes barely 24 hours after the Volta Regional Security Council beefed up security in the area following renewed clashes in which two people died and scores others sustained injuries.

Ankobeahene of Nkonya Traditional Area and chief of Nkonya Ahodzo, Nana Ampem Darko spoke to GBC’s Radio Ghana.
