CPP sympathises with Nduom over fire disaster The CPP has expressed shock at this weekend’s fire that destroyed parts of the Coconut Groove hotel which is owned by a former flagbearer of the Convention People's Party, Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom. A statement signed by the CPP chairman Prof. Edmund Delle said the incident is rather unfortunate considering the amount of investment lost. The fire destroyed buildings owned by Groupe Nduom which also shares the same premises as Coconut Groove Regency Hotel at Kanda. The affected building included GN bank's corporate office and media station, ATV. The fire is reported to have started in a studio of Amansan TV that also houses the office of GN bank. No casualty has been recorded yet but properties running into several thousands of cedis were totally destroyed. The CPP Chairman said the party stands with Dr Ndoum in these difficult times. GBC
