Forum recommends people- centred policies to increase participation in politics

A forum to unravel practical ways of restoring trust, confidence and participation in Ghana's democracy has been held in Accra. 

Dubbed ''the Odekro Brown Bag Series'', the platform is one designed to foster peer-learning among Civil Society Organisations, Academia, Researchers, Parliament, Duty Bearers and the Media.

GBC`s Rebecca Ekpe who participated reports that discussants agreed on the critical need for government to frame information targeted at citizens in ways that will diffuse apathy and increase political participation.
