The Gambia President Adama Barrow arrives in Ghana today

The Gambia's President Adama Barrow is expected in Ghana today. 

President Barrow became Gambia's new leader after an electoral process that was marred by the refusal of long time President Yahya Jammeh to accept defeat in the December election. 

Mr. Jammeh fled into exile after troops from West African countries prepared to enter the capital and force him to go. 

While in Ghana, Mr Barrow will have a closed door meeting with President Akufo-Addo after which the two leaders will address the media.
