Tema without potable water

For almost a week now, residents in parts of Tema have been without running water.

The situation residents say is of great worry as their water reserves have dried out.

Some of the areas include; Community three, two, five and surrounding areas.

Erratic water supply is a common problem in the Tema Metropolis.
 
Some residents told Radio Ghana that the situation seemed to have normalized during the festive season only to return in the New Year. 

Official sources at the Ghana Water Company at Tema, say they are working to fix a burst pipe.
 
Residents however wonder why it often takes Ghana Water umpteenth hours to respond to emergencies.
