Religious Figures and Security Analysts condemn prophecies that undermine peace & security of the state

Chairman of the Pentecostal and Charismatic Council of Ghana, Rev. Dr. Opoku Onyinah, has condemned the way some men of God take to social media to put out messages they claim to have received from God.

He said such public pronouncements are not healthy for the peace and security of the country.

Apostle Onyinah, said such prophecies of death give information to criminals or people with criminal intent to carry out their intentions in the name of prophesy.

Apostle Onyinah, stated that some of these people who claim to be men of God go public for fame.

Meanwhile, Security Analyst, Adib Saani, says it is about time security agencies invited for questioning people who call themselves "Men of God" and prophesy the death of other people.

Mr. Saani said some of these prophesies have the tendency to undermine the peace and security of the state.
