Trump endorses guns for teachers to stop shootings

President Donald Trump, has proposed that teachers be armed to prevent school shootings like that which left seventeen people dead in Florida last week. 

He said a member of staff with a gun could end an attack very quickly. 

President Trump made the proposal as survivors of the 14 February massacre implored him to make sure it never happens again. 

The President also backed calls for improved background checks on gun buyers.
