Over 100,000 inhabitants displaced following heavy rains at Akyem Asuom

Heavy rains have rendered over one hundred thousand residents of Akyem - Asuom in the Kwaebirim District of the Eastern Region homeless. 

According to the Head Teacher of the Presbyterian Primary and JHS, the rain caused destruction to homes, church buildings, markets, school structures and food stuffs.
